Hon. Membe in talks with the Director of the Word Food Programme


Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation welcomes Ms. Ertharin Cousin, Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) today in his office in Dar es Salaam.  Ms Cousin is in the country to visit and review areas of cooperation, particularly the operation status of the school feeding program.

Hon. Membe listens to Ms. Cousins explanation about the WFP and its food preservation and school feeding programs.

Ambassador Celestine Mushy (left), Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation was also in attendance during the meeting.  Others in the photo are Mr. Togolani Mavura (center), Private Assistant to Hon.
